What a great trip! After installing new front brake pads (the LAST thing on my long list of to-do’s), we were finally able to hook up the trailer and hit the road for Red Rock Canyon State Park.

Great trails, great friends, and the Indian Wells Brewery made this one of our favorite wheeling/camping trips to date!

Just a quick photo touch up for a customer…the sky needs some more work, but for the most part I’m happy with it…

Today we decided to step it up a notch… 3.51 miles!

A lot is behind us and life is finally beginning to settle down. We woke up bright and early this morning and decided it was time to start getting in shape again, so we woke the dog, threw on her harness and leash, and off we went.
Using RunKeeper on my iPhone, we will be tracking our (hopefully) daily walks/runs. Here’s our track from this morning’s walk:

This month’s “SoCal FJ Cruiser Meet & Eat” was at Stone Brewing Co. in Escondido. We had a great turn out,a ton of fun (and beer), and beautiful weather! We were lucky enough to get a private tour and tasting.
My personal favorite brew of the day was Stone Ruination IPA.

I’ve decided to start using our blog to share some of my graphic design/creative work with the very few people who stop by to read it.

I’ll start by posting this recently completed tri-fold piece that I designed for a local florist/wedding planning company. I really enjoyed putting it together. Enjoy!

Last weekend we decided to get my sister Ashley and cousin Samantha out of the house for the weekend, and take them to Disneyland…

D-land is running a special right now for Southern California residents. 3-day Park-Hopper tickets for $99…not half bad if you ask me!
We stayed at HOTEL MÉNAGE Friday and Saturday night, and were able to walk to the park .

We had an extremely enjoyable weekend, but two days at Disneyland & California Adventure will did a number on our feet! Here are the pictures:

Our good friend Dominic joined the army and is now in boot camp. To celebrate his service, we planned a trip before he left to one of our favorite places to camp & offroad: Pismo Beach (Oceano Dunes, to be more precise). What a great weekend!
